Variants affected – Oats Brownie, Berry Burst, Espresso and Coconut Almond - 10g protein bars.
We are conducting a product recall of the above variant of products with manufacturing date starting 12th Sept 2019 until 31st Oct 2019 across our sales channels.
Problem – This recall is due to oxidative rancidity observed in few batches of our sugar free protein bars that had oats powder sourced from a specific vendor.
However to be on a safer side we are issuing a complete recall of all the 10g protein bars manufactured in the above mentioned time period. The affected products will have a bitter taste which will be evident even if a small bite is taken making it easy to identify. Continued consumption of the affected product might cause digestion problems.
What to do – Customers can return the item back to the retailer/point of sale and take a refund against the same. In case you have purchased via any online channels, please write to hello@hyprote.in with a pic of the product clearly showing the MFG date and number of units purchased. We will issue a full refund against the same.
The recall information has been communicated to all our channel partners and the inventory on shelves rescinded. We thank you for your cooperation and apologize for the inconvenience caused.
